Every Gift Counts was founded with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel the joy of receiving a gift, no matter their family’s circumstances. Starting locally in Herefordshire, we recognised that special occasions like Christmas and birthdays can be stressful for families facing financial hardship. From our very first donations, we’ve worked hand-in-hand with individuals, schools, and community partners to ensure that no child is left out of life’s celebrations.

Our vision is to create a community where generosity and kindness mean every child and family can experience the magic of giving and receiving. We aim to expand year on year, reaching more families and building stronger connections with donors, volunteers, and businesses. Every gift, whether a toy, a voucher, or a thoughtful gesture, is a reminder that people care, and our long-term goal is to ensure that no milestone is missed because of financial struggles.

EGC is run by a dedicated board of directors and trustees who bring together experience in business, community work, and charitable projects. Alongside them, our growing network of volunteers, supporters, and partners make our mission possible. Together, we’re more than just an organisation, we’re a movement of people determined to spread joy, restore dignity, and remind families that in Herefordshire, every gift truly does count.
